Posted on Feb 26, 2026

We’re a global team of over 400 people, working together to push the boundaries of open-source technology and multi-cloud solutions. Our vision is to help developers, builders, and creators bring their ideas to life with speed and simplicity, by providing a cloud data platform that makes open-source databases, search, streaming, and application infrastructure easily accessible to everyone.

The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive MarTech Specialist to join our growing Marketing Operations team. In this role, you will be the technical owner of our core marketing stack, ensuring our tools are integrated, scalable, and fully utilized to drive growth.

You are a perfect fit if you own a mix of technical curiosity and business acumen—someone who enjoys "looking under the hood" of a CRM but can also explain complex workflows to non-technical stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our marketing infrastructure supports Aiven’s mission to make open-source infrastructure accessible to everyone.

What You'll Do:

  • System Ownership & Governance: Act as the technical administrator for our core platforms (Marketing Automation, CRM connectors), managing user roles, security protocols, and overall system health.
  • Architecture & Integrations: Design and maintain seamless data flows between our MarTech tools, CRM (Salesforce), and Data Warehouse to ensure a "single source of truth" for marketing data.
  • Execution & Optimization: Support the marketing team in executing digital activities while proactively identifying and fixing technical bottlenecks or data sync errors.
  • Stakeholder Consultation: Act as an internal consultant for cross-functional teams, helping them understand how to leverage our technology to achieve their campaign goals.
  • Future-Proofing and AI Solutions: Stay ahead of MarTech trends to identify new opportunities and tools that can improve our efficiency and scalability.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure our stack remains compliant with global data regulations (GDPR/CCPA) and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation and process maps.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing operations or a technical marketing role.
  • Tool Expertise: Deep proficiency with Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., Pardot/Salesforce Account Engagement, HubSpot, or Marketo) and a solid understanding of Salesforce object models.
  • Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of database structures, API integrations, and web development basics (CMS tools, HTML/CSS).
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business impact.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is a must.
