About the role
The Talent Acquisition Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for day-to-day recruitment activities that support Aleph Alpha’s growth and hiring goals. In this role, you will partner with our Tech teams, including researchers, engineers, and business leaders, to identify their hiring needs and develop hiring plans to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement talent attraction strategies that align with business and team goals.
Manage full-cycle, data-driven, best-in-class recruitment with a strong focus on candidate experience
Utilize recruitment analytics and key performance metrics to track recruitment effectiveness, assess talent acquisition strategies, and drive data-based hiring decisions for continuous improvement.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles by proactively sourcing talent, networking and building relationships to meet future hiring needs.
Enhance Aleph Alpha’s employer brand awareness by highlighting our mission, culture, and values through targeted recruitment marketing initiatives that engage and inspire top talent.
What you'll bring :
Proven experience in hiring top talent, ideally supporting highly specialized technical teams
Strong technical aptitude to assess and understand complex AI and deep-tech talent profiles, with a proactive approach to staying current on industry developments and talent market trends.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted talent advisor, guiding and mentoring teams on hiring topics
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong organizational skills, and effectively leverage ATS tools to drive collaboration and hiring efficiency. Here in Aleph Alpha we are using Ashby.
Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a focus on innovative recruitment practices.
You are fluent in English; German is a plus.

Please note this is a hybrid role based in our Heidelberg office, requiring a minimum of 50% in-office attendance (approximately 2–3 days per week).
This position is a maternity cover and is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract.
