Your Key Contributions:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and execute financial strategies that synchronize with our business objectives.
• Collaborate with the executive team to establish business plans, financial goals, and milestones.
• Provide insightful financial recommendations that steer key business decisions.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and nurture a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and professional development.
• Spearhead the transformation of finance systems, processes, and people for operational excellence.
• Effectively communicate financial strategies, fostering collaboration across departments.

Financial Modelling and Analysis:

• Craft and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts for business planning.
• Drive the budgeting process, offering ongoing insights to inform decision-making.
• Perform intricate financial analyses, including revenue projections and cost assessments.
• Track and report on pivotal financial metrics, illuminating our path to success.

Financial Operations & Deal Desk:

• Innovate and establish streamlined finance processes and controls for global growth.
• Oversee accurate, timely end-to-end finance operations, from reporting to insights.
• Lead various financial operations, optimizing efficiency, automation, and customer experience.
• Safeguard the integrity of financial, customer, and sales data, fostering trust and accuracy.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Drive reporting to the board, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Champion precise, on-time financial reporting, complying with accounting principles.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with precision.
• Instill robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks

Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge:

• Stay current with financial regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
• Ensure our financial practices adhere to laws and regulations, collaborating with legal partners.

What We're Looking For:

• Relevant qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience as a FD /Head of / VP Finance in a B2B tech start up.
• Strong technical accounting foundation and proficiency in financial management systems.
• A proven track record of driving and improving business processes
• Experience building global finance teams including systems and processes
• Experience operating across multiple geos /currencies / legal entities is essential
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• In-depth understanding of financial statements, reporting standards, and compliance requirements
• Passion for making things efficient and providing excellent customer experiences.
