Events Marketing Manager

Responsibilities
- Own our events planning and delivery process for both owned and sponsored events across the globe - e.g., Google NEXT, Snowflake Summit, and regional events.
- Be the lead marketeer responsible for organizing CARTO-hosted events – Spatial Data Science Conference in London and New York, and Spatial Data Science Roadshows around the world, working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to make these events successful.
- Identify priority events for us to participate in the data science, data engineering, cloud, software development, and analytics spaces, enabling us to generate leads and raise brand awareness in key markets.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure we maximize the pipeline generated from events, ensuring prudent lead collection and follow-up using tools such as Hubspot, Apollo, and Salesforce.
- Work with Demand Generation to market our events presence effectively through channels such as social, email marketing, and outbound campaigns.

You don’t just hang out with the marketers, you make the effort to spend a significant amount of time with sellers, pre-sales, data science and product to gain insights that are relevant to your work.

You offer
- 4+ years of experience working in events marketing in a tech company.
- Experience working with teams in multiple locations and cultures.
- Experience working with marketing technology (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce, Content Management Systems).
- An eye for design and brand guardianship.
