This role is a unique opportunity to influence the future of digital content protection at a technical level, working closely with our CTO and Head of Engineering as part of the Web Engineering Team to develop cutting-edge solutions that address the challenges of digital security.

🚀 Your Role: Beyond the High-Level

Role

You will be our first in-house hire to the frontend web team and thus will be a key contributor in setting ourselves up to industry development standards of testing code and showcasing to the team the different possibilities in the frontend space—the go-to expert for frontend innovation, entrusted with elevating our user interfaces to the next level. This role will require you to:

• Create and Lead Outstanding Frontend Interfaces: You're not just building interfaces; you're crafting seamless experiences. From implementing cutting-edge UI components and ensuring pixel-perfect designs to optimizing performance and accessibility, your work lays the foundation for our user engagement.
• Shape and Guide Frontend Development: Whether it's introducing new technologies, architecting scalable frontend solutions, or refining our coding standards, you're at the forefront, ensuring we're not just keeping up with industry trends but setting them. You'll establish best practices for code quality, conduct thorough code reviews, and set the standards for writing tested, maintainable code.
• Drive Product Innovation: With a strong eye for product, you're not afraid to make suggestions from a product perspective. You'll collaborate closely the different stakeholders in Ceartas to shape the direction of our applications, ensuring that our frontend solutions align with user needs and business objectives.
  
  

🗒️ Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the frontend development for all user-facing offerings, ensuring all interfaces are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet user expectations.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align frontend solutions with user needs and business objectives, directly influencing product development and feature prioritization.
• Establish and maintain coding standards by introducing new methodologies, creating a cohesive codebase and tests.
• Implement user interfaces by translating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs into responsive, high-performance code that enhances engagement and satisfaction.
• Clarify development requirements by gathering and interpreting information from various sources, managing ambiguity to keep the team aligned and focused in a dynamic environment.
• Support and mentor junior developers, providing guidance to foster their professional growth and ensure consistency in code quality across projects.
  
  

🌟 Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Expertise in TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js.
• Strong skills in CSS.
• Experience with state management using Redux.
• Solid understanding of API integration and asynchronous programming.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code and setting a standard for the team to follow.
• Experience with testing tools like Jest and Playwright.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience mentoring or coaching other developers.

• Experience with AWS Amplify for cloud services.
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries like Chart.js, ECharts, or Recharts.
