What is this job about?

As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will:

• Engage directly with technical people at our customers, including at their factories, to get their data and workflows integrated with our software.

• Perform custom analytics on real world data to drive user adoption and prove value to the customer.

• Work super closely with our Deployment Strategists and other Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver value quickly and consistently.

• Proactively keeping the product org informed of key painpoints and opportunities to make our platform better and deliver even more value for customers.

• Join a tight-knit team continuously deploying, integrating, scaling, and improving our software.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

Must-Haves:

• An academic degree from a great school in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Machine Learning.

• 2+ years working experience writing and wrangling with software that has to deal with real world problems.

• Consistent track record of having an outsized impact and going the extra mile.

• An urge to join fast-paced, impact-driven team.

Bonus:

• Fluency in Python, SQL, ML libraries and frameworks.

• Familiarity with DevOps and deployment aspects, in the cloud and on premises.

• Experience in manufacturing or a related industry.

• Prior scaleup or startup experience.
