We are a growing team looking for a Supervisor Carrier Management in the Capacity Team to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Barcelona office, and it’s on-site.
WHAT YOU WILL DO …
As a Supervisor Carrier Management, you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like leading, coaching, planning, and directing the work of the Capacity Team. You’ll guide the team while optimizing relationships with key stakeholders. You’ll oversee capacity-facing activities including sales, account management, and post-sales support, ensuring organizational targets are met alongside customer transportation needs. You’ll collaborate closely with internal partners to identify and nurture new and ongoing business opportunities. In this role, you will...
- Mentor and coach 6 team members daily while actively monitoring productivity and quality metrics, offering guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Empower team growth by setting and reviewing personal performance goals, thereby creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build a diverse team by participating in recruitment and promoting a vibrant workforce that enhances our team's strength.
- Cultivate strong relationships with the Capacity Team to ensure high-quality service and drive continuous process improvement.
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring the effective use of technology in daily operations.
- Support procurement strategies by utilizing analytics to make data-driven decisions that enhance performance and carrier service quality.
- Lead change by collaborating with internal stakeholders to foster adaptability and ethical behaviour in the workplace.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- +5 years of proven experience in logistics or transportation, and 2 - 3 years of experience leading teams.
- Excellent English and Spanish communication skills (verbal and written).
- Any East European language is nice to have.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive under deadlines and perform well under pressure, delivering team results.
- Driven, enthusiastic, and committed, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture in a fast-paced international environment.
