The Credit Analyst is responsible for assessing the credit worthiness of existing customers and prospective clients. Reviews and approves requests for payment terms. Examines financial transactions and credit history on a case-by-case basis. Obtains documentation (i.e., credit reports, bank and trade references) as needed. Maintains follow up communication with Sales team for updates and additional information regarding credit approval. Documents all account activity as directed in the CRM system. Works aggressively to contribute to company objectives (sales and revenue targets, cash collections and reduction of aged receivables).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day contact for credit approval and nonstandard payment term review of UK and North America Sales contracts to assess risk and provide recommendations
  • Perform manual reviews of customer accounts, including, but not limited to bank and trade references
  • Perform financial statement analysis
  • Work with US Finance and Billing teams to ensure compliance with credit and payment terms policies
  • Support Team Leader as needed and assist Finance Operations with collections of delinquent accounts

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field is required
  • Minimum one year of experience in credit analysis, working with corporate or B2B customers
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess financial statements and evaluate credit risk
  • Good verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a team
