About the opportunity
We seek a Business Development Representative (BDR) based in Berlin or remote. In this role, you are responsible for identifying and crafting new qualified opportunities for the wider sales team. As a key member of finmid's team, you will be responsible for building and executing a vision that positions finmid as a key player in the global financial ecosystem, setting us up as a go-to partner for software companies that are looking to enrich their offering with lending capabilities. You are responsible for inbound lead generation and setting meetings with qualified prospects after you hand them over to your BDM colleagues.
In this role, you will:
Leverage Outbound campaigns to drive top-of-the-funnel opportunities and creation of qualified leads for the BDM’s.
Research verticals, companies, and prospects from the addressable market to identify potential opportunities and key decision-makers
Generate prospect interest through creative outreach techniques, as well as written communication in collaboration with Marketing (emails/Inmails/social media)
Set sales-ready meetings for qualified opportunities and ensure a smooth transition to the BDM’s.
Work with multiple sales enablement tools to streamline your work and process and drive a bigger personal pipeline
What you need to be successful:
'Can-do' attitude, along with an optimistic and solution-oriented mindset, fostering a collaborative and proactive approach to challenges.
1+ years of sales outreach experience, preferably in a sales role where you have successfully sold complex products/services to enterprise customers
Eager to be a Sales Superstar and always strive to be the best, but never at the expense of others
Committed to learning every day and take personal pride in the work that you deliver
Excellent listening and communication skills (written, on the phone, and in person) and are comfortable speaking to anyone
Born hunter and networker with a creative approach to outreach and a desire to engage
Experience with CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
Full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English
Multi-tasking comes easily to you and you do not need to learn how to manage your time effectively
