About the opportunity

As a Fullstack Node Engineer, you will focus on building internal tools for our operations. As one of the first Fullstack Engineers, you will be responsible for:

  • Fullstack Development: Utilize your expertise in Node.js to build scalable and efficient server-side applications. Work seamlessly with frontend technologies to create a cohesive and responsive user experience.

  • API Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate in-house and third-party APIs and services, enhancing the functionality of our internal tools and ensuring seamless data flow.

  • UI/UX Enhancement: Work closely with our design team to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Strive for an optimal user experience in the development of internal tools.

  • Code Quality and Testing: Uphold high standards of code quality, readability, and maintainability. Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the reliability and robustness of the developed features.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain thorough technical documentation for internal tools. Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and ensure the sustainability of the developed solutions.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews. Collaborate with other teams to understand their tooling needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

Requirements

  • You have an creative mindset.

  • The ability to find seamlessly simple and pragmatic solutions to complex problems.

  • Experience building scalable web applications, libraries and tools with TypeScript. Deep understanding of modern frameworks and libraries, such as Nest.js, Next, React.

  • Experience working with RESTful JSON APIs.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, and a history of working effectively with your cross-functional team and other stakeholders.

  • A desire to perform and grow as an engineer.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bonus points for

  • Experience with financial or payments technologies.

  • Knowledge of GraphQL.

  • Worked with Figma.

  • Enjoy building a new team or product and helping make a great team environment.

  • Experience working with remote teams.
