About the role

FintechOS Cloud is our flagship SaaS offering running on Azure and as a FintechOS Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and defining the strategy and vision towards best-in-class SaaS offering. Your primary focus will be on developing a scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure that meets the company's business objectives and aligns with industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and translate them into robust cloud architecture.

What you’ll be doing

• Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the overall cloud architecture strategy, including infrastructure design, network connectivity, security, and data management. Design scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions that align with business goals and industry standards.
• Cloud Infrastructure Implementation: Lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. Configure and deploy containers, storage, databases, and networking components.
• Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by implementing appropriate security controls, monitoring systems, and encryption mechanisms. Stay updated with the latest security threats and industry trends to mitigate risks effectively.
• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance improvement and optimization of cloud-based systems. Conduct regular audits, capacity planning, and monitoring to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and provide guidance on cloud-related matters.
• Cloud Governance and Documentation: Establish and enforce cloud governance policies, guidelines, and best practices across the organization. Document cloud architecture designs, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain an up-to-date repository of technical documentation.
• Cloud Cost Management: Monitor cloud resource consumption and costs, identify cost optimization opportunities, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising system performance and availability. Provide recommendations on cost-effective cloud service selection and utilization.
• Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in cloud technologies, architecture patterns, and industry best practices. Evaluate new tools and technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption to enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a cloud architect, designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud platforms, including hands-on experience with their respective services and features.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
• Proficiency in cloud security and compliance, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and data protection.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration tools like Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and architectures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• A certified Azure Solutions Architect is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in the English language is a must.
