About the role:

As a Java Developer with expertise in Apache Camel integrations, you will play a crucial role in digitalizing the financial sector through our innovative platform. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who can design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable solutions, integrating various systems and services using Quarkus, Apache Camel and other Java technologies.

What you’ll do:

• with the development team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and technical specifications related to financial technology integrations.
• develop, and implement end-to-end Java solutions, with a strong focus on Quarkus and Apache Camel for seamless integration between our platform and external systems.
• Apache Camel's EIP (Enterprise Integration Patterns) to build reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant integrations.
• RESTful APIs and web services facilitate data exchange between our platform and third-party financial systems, ensuring security and compliance with industry standards.
• in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• and enhance the existing codebase to improve system performance and overall user experience.
• with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.
• up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to Java development and financial technology integrations.
• monitor and evaluate the performance of integrated systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

What you’ll need:

• degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
• work experience as a Java Developer with an emphasis on integration projects using Apache Camel.
• in Java programming language and related frameworks.
• with messaging protocols, and their integration within Apache Camel.
• experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and data formats like JSON and XML.
• of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• with Azure Cloud platform and related services for deployment and scalability (Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, ARM templates, Terraform)
• understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OpenID, Oauth2), identity and access management
• with Keycloak administration and configuration.
• problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• working in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment is advantageous, showcasing adaptability and a self-starter mentality.
