Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Platform Tester to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality of our platform. You will play a critical role in our development process, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless and reliable user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our fintech platform.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and technical implementation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Automate repetitive testing tasks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Ensure that the platform meets high standards of security, reliability, and performance.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to the team and management.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and robustness.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and fintech.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role, preferably in the fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance is a plus.
