About the role

The Solution Consultant is responsible for the requirements elicitation process, working with the client to create a functional solution design for the system that leverage FintechOS capabilities and assisting the development and testing activities throughout the lifecycle of the engagement.

The above includes but not limited to the following key activities:

• Have an up-to-date detailed knowledge of our technology capabilities (supported by FintechOS Academy and proximity with he Product and Engineering teams) and how to best use them to achieve the expected result and maximize client impact.
• Facilitating client meetings to assure clear and detailed functional design, documenting the solution specifications, and providing in-depth guidance for the development team.
• Leading/participating in testing and training activities to foster client self-sufficiency.
• Triage the reported issues/change requests, drive the bug fixing process and support the entire team involved in a Delivery Project.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct discovery and analysis workshops
• Perform Gap Analysis to understand what can be covered through configuration or extensibility
• Translate Business / Functional Requirements from client to platform capabilities
• Ability to capture Non - Functional Requirements
• Define data exchanges with 3rd party systems
• Provide specification for the development team and assistance on functional clarification during the delivery process
• Deliver standard or custom onsite and online trainings for customer to foster customer self-sufficiency
• Ability to work and enable FintechOS partners on the right utilization of the FintechOS platform
• Help create new professional expert content and improve current methodologies, frameworks, best practices, and any other relevant documentation specific for the role
• Enable success for FintechOS customers and partner organizations by collaborating closely with our Customer and Parner Success teams to answer any technical queries or help advise on approaches to respond to customer challenges.
• Help onboard new colleagues on the role, by delivering required trainings needed and coaching and mentoring them on the role
• Provide constant feedback to Product teams enabling them to constantly improve FintechOS products

Experience:

• At least 5 years of working experience in financial services industry, either by working on complex projects involving business content delivery and IT developments or performing consulting work across financial services implementations
• Product Management, Business Analysis or consulting experience is desirable
• Participated in multiple end to end digital transformation projects from solutioning to go live using different methodologies (ae.g gile, waterfall, hybrid)
• Proficient in English (written and spoken), additional language skills are a plus
