About the role

At Flanks, we are looking for a Back Office Intern. If you are a motivated professional motivated, passionate about financial services and are looking for an exciting challenge in a dynamic exciting challenge in a dynamic environment, we want to meet you!


Reporting to the Head of Operations, the candidate will undertake the following tasks:

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all data entries and updates, cross-referencing with original documents and third-party sources as necessary.
  • Incident Resolution: Assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies and problems related to customer transactions and accounts.
  • Data Management: Help collect, organize, and maintain detailed records of all assets, including real estate, investments, trusts, bank accounts, and other holdings.
  • Data Extraction: Extract relevant information from PDFs and other documents to incorporate into asset management databases.
  • Financial Operations Control: Support the financial operations exchange of clients with various banking entities.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate on projects to improve and automate processes.
  • Database Utilization: Assist different areas of the company by exploiting the database.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the client and banks, external advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and financial advisors.

Things we'd love to see on you

    • Education: Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
    • Experience: Some experience in administrative, audit, or accounting roles within the financial/banking sector is a plus, but not required.
    • Language Skills: Advanced level of English.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and methodical.
    • Results-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving results.

The hiring process

This is how the usual hiring process looks like:

  2. A chat with Mireia Barón, our Head of People.
  3. A meeting with our Head of Operations, Sergi Vega.
  4. Business case presentation to the Head of Operations.
  5. Optionally, any other meeting you or us might need to clarify any pending questions.
  6. We send you an offer.

We expect a few days to pass between each step. We aim for a process as short as one week and never longer than one month.
