About the role 💼

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you’ll dive into both frontend and backend, balancing 50/50 between crafting dynamic, responsive interfaces and building robust APIs and databases. No need to be a jack-of-all-trades—we value your strengths and preferences. You’ll have the opportunity to work on every layer of the stack, ensuring seamless integration from user experience to data management.

You'll also step up as a leader, mentoring others, spearheading new initiatives, and bringing your organizational and communication skills to the forefront. While you'll keep contributing hands-on, you'll also play a strategic role in shaping Flanks' tech future.

Join us as we build brand-new projects from scratch, giving you the freedom to debate and decide on the best tech stack for each challenge. Ready to roll up your sleeves?

Our current stack in other teams includes:

• Node.js for backend (with a dash of Fastify).
• Vue 3 for frontend awesomeness.
• Running on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) 🚀.
• SQL Databases to keep everything organized.
• Plus, we’re using tools like minion.js, Auth0, Redis, and more.
• Bonus points if you're into Python 🐍!

What we'd love to see 😍

• 3-5 years of fullstack experience? Awesome! We love a good mix of JavaScript—Node.js for backend and Vue (or similar frameworks like React, Angular) for frontend.
• You’ve got skills in designing responsive, dynamic UIs and crafting RESTful APIs 🖥️.
• Comfortable with state management (think Vuex, Pinia, or similar tools)? Even better!
• You’ve worn different hats in a dev team before and feel at home with Git and collaborative workflows.
• You can integrate third-party APIs like a pro, handling both frontend and backend needs.
• Databases? You’ve got experience in both SQL and NoSQL.
• Cloud services (GCP, AWS, etc.) and Kubernetes experience will make us really excited 🎉.
• Bonus: experience with data analysis, warehousing, or security 🔒.
• Above all, you’re a strong communicator who values teamwork and clear, effective communication.
• Bilingual? Fluent in both English and Spanish? That’s perfect! 🌍
