About the role 💼
We are looking for a Financial Product Analyst to join the Product team and work closely with our institutional clients. This person will serve as the bridge between clients and the product team, understanding their needs, identifying improvement opportunities, and actively contributing to the evolution of Flanks’ platform and financial reporting.
This role is ideal for someone coming from the financial sector (private banking, middle office, custodians, asset managers, or family offices) who wants to move into a fintech/product environment, maintaining direct client interaction while contributing to product definition.
What you'll do 🛠️
Client Interaction & Support
- Participate in meetings with new and existing clients to gather requirements, answer questions, and provide clarity on product functionalities.
- Develop a deep understanding of their operational processes, metrics, financial product types, and investment scenarios.
- Translate client feedback into clear and actionable requirements for the product team.
Functional Analysis & Definition
- Assess the impact of new requests or needs on the platform and financial report.
- Produce functional analyses and clear documentation for development and QA teams.
- Propose solutions aligned with the product strategy and current technical capabilities.
Collaboration with the Product Team
- Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, QA Reporting, and Client Delivery.
- Prioritize feedback and turn complex issues into feasible solutions.
- Contribute to designing functional improvements, new flows, indicators, and visualizations.
Follow-Up & Continuous Improvement
- Support client onboardings and ongoing evolution to ensure correct adoption of functionalities.
- Identify common patterns, opportunities for standardization, or product enhancements.
- Document learnings and best practices to strengthen the client experience.
What we'd love to see 😍
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in the financial sector: private banking, wealth management, middle office, custody, asset management, or family office.
- Familiarity with financial products, performance metrics, multi-asset portfolios, and operational processes related to reporting or market data.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory).
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of agile processes and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Valuable certifications in markets/finance (EFPA, CFA Level I, CAIA, or others).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, clarity in explanations, and active listening.
- Ability to interact with high-demanding profiles (C-level, portfolio managers, relationship managers).
- Problem-solving mindset, structured thinking, and ability to make quick decisions in meetings.
- Strong ability to build trust, manage expectations, and distill complex messages into practical solutions.
Languages
- Advanced Spanish and English (C1).
- A third language is a plus.
