WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Join the Getsafe team as the Head of Finance and play a pivotal role in steering the financial functions of our company. We are seeking a dynamic professional with expertise in budgeting, reporting, controlling, steering and overseeing operational finance functions. As a key leadership figure, you will also serve as a strategic sparring partner for the CFO and other key executives, contributing to strategic financial decision making and to strategic initiatives such as fundraising and M&A.

YOUR MISSION:

• Lead the elevation of the controlling system including transparency on financial metrics, cost control and budgeting initiatives as the Head of Finance at Getsafe, demonstrating profound expertise in financial strategy
• Support diverse functions as leader, including accounting, controlling, treasury and risk management, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with company goals
• Serve as a strategic sparring partner for the exec team, engaging and driving discussions that will contribute to the overall success of the company
• Represent Getsafe and the finance team in partnership with external stakeholders including auditors, investors, banking, and other business partners, enabling clear and precise collaboration
• Foster collaboration with key internal stakeholders, acting as a partner in guiding financial decision-making processes

• Proven track record in building, managing and motivating high-performing finance teams with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• You can take fast decisions based on data and are strong at executing them throughout the organisation
• You don’t accept the status quo and always try to radically simplify and improve the way we spend and manage our budgets
• You make use of the data insights you have in your Head of Finance role and influence the organisation to focus on its strategy and follow its mission
• Bringing comfortable fluency in both German and English
