YOUR MISSION:

• As a Staff Engineer, you are a central part of the Engineering team, where your role is characterized by responsibility for strategic issues, technical expertise as well as spearheading the development of new products. In doing so, you will examine the strategic direction of the company, keep an eye on market-related trends, drive forward with related topics across the board and empower your peers.
• You will build the bridge between technologist and business in your role. You will help explore the possibilities of generative AI and machine learning.
• You'll help the company exploit the full potential of large language models. In addition, you will introduce and optimize techniques to make the most of the diverse machine learning opportunities and to develop innovative solutions.
• You will discuss in-depth and complex industry-specific business concepts with technologists and the management team to develop innovative strategies and develop tailored solutions. In doing so, you contribute your comprehensive expertise to unite different perspectives and make forward-looking decisions.
• You will work closely with software development engineers, data scientists, MLOps engineers, product and business owners to design and implement Generative AI driven solutions balancing benefits of custom solutions and standardization opportunities ensuring production grade services

ABOUT YOU:

• You are holding a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field of studies. PhD is a plus
• You have in-depth experience in machine learning, generative AI, data science, Python and cloud native technologies. This also includes automation and cloud architecture. With your expert knowledge and several years of practical experience, you know exactly how to create real value and develop innovative solutions by using machine learning.
• You have several proven years of experience in implementing large-scale applications and ensure that the AI solutions developed are robust, scalable and efficient. Your expertise allows you to successfully implement complex projects while always ensuring the highest quality standards.
• You have practical experience with OpenAI or AWS Bedrock or with the open-source models, e.g. Llama
• You have worked with Generative AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain
• You have experience with LLMOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment approaches in the context of GenAI
• You communicate fluently in English
