The Position

At Hive, we’re building the leading operations platform for independent commerce. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Chief of Staff / Strategy Associate (depending on seniority level) to support our Chief Product Officer (CPO) in further elevating the product, design, and engineering organizations and building out our product offering. This role is key to ensuring that our vision is effectively executed across all levels and functions of the organization and that strategic initiatives are implemented with the focus they require.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving strategic initiatives: Collaborate closely with the CPO to shape and implement key projects, such as managing the product roadmap, planning cycles, goal setting or iterating our product operating model, increasing visibility into how we're working and our progress
  • Optimizing operational efficiency: Take a proactive approach to streamline processes within the Product, Design, and Engineering teams, for example managing business and product reviews incl. required documents and follow-up items; also in close collaboration with our VP Engineering and Head of Design
  • Enhancing cross-functional collaboration: Act as a bridge between the CPO and both the team and wider organization, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities and objectives, surfacing decision needs where relevant and supporting with ad-hoc data analyses and research where relevant
  • Preparing and facilitating meetings: Actively prepare and support documents and material for team- and org-wide meetings, incl. required analysis and research; occasionally representing the CPO in internal discussions
  • Managing high-impact projects: Lead and take a variety of (ad-hoc) strategic projects from concept through execution for the Product, Design, and Engineering leadership, and jump in on occasional ad-hoc initiatives where more Product support is required, also supporting in the hiring process
  • Data-informed decision making: Conduct data analysis yourself and work together with the CPO and leaders to pull together a clear understanding of our product success metrics, their tracking, and help augment product decision making; you’ll be a crucial sounding board and force multiplier for the CPO and the wider product and design organization with sound research
