What you'll do:
- Mission: strategize social media strategy to enhance Inkitt and Galatea's online presence and community
- You will report to the Senior Social Media and Communications Strategist to the CEO
- Develop, produce, and publish content that aligns with overarching brand strategy
- Manage all aspects of Inkitt and Galatea communities on social media to develop a highly engaged community
- Manage and develop relationships with Inkitt authors and affilate authors
- Managing various author email inboxes, day to day author conversations around payments, answering questions, etc.
- Distributing relevant information about Inkitt among external reading and writing communities (e.g. author fan pages on Inkitt, telegram groups, etc.)
- Supporting the Inkitt team operationally
Who you are:
- Startup hungry; you excel in a fast-paced, scrappy environment and you welcome new challenges
- Committed to building an in-person work culture; you prefer a hybrid work model
- 3+ years of experience with social media and community management
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Experience conceptualizing, managing, and evaluating social media campaigns
- A great storyteller and strong writer
- In-depth knowledge of social media marketing, branding, and community management
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Tracking social analytics and distilling them into actionable takeaways
- Ability to project manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs
- Has creativity to develop unique content strategy and identify new opportunities for growth
