What You’ll Do
- Write one new vertical microdrama script every 5 weeks, or edit and adapt existing scripts.
- Create compelling, fast-paced dialogue that resonates with a mobile-first audience.
- Collaborate closely with the development and marketing teams to ensure scripts deliver marketable moments that drive viewership and retention.
- Translate classic romance tropes and fresh story concepts into addictive, binge-worthy episodes.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate to hit deadlines with precision.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience writing for another vertical microdrama company (please include samples with your submission).
- A deep understanding of romance tropes, enemies-to-lovers dynamics, cliffhangers, and episodic hooks.
- Familiarity with the structure and pacing of vertical dramas—able to match the rhythm, tension, and emotional beats audiences expect.
- Skill at writing sharp, emotionally charged dialogue that feels natural and addictive in short-form episodic format.
- A proven ability to work quickly and independently, meeting tight turnaround times without sacrificing quality.
- Passion for the intersection of storytelling and technology, and excitement to help build a generational AI x Entertainment company.
