Intro

MXON is the first live Minter on the M0 Protocol, operating the infrastructure that transforms real-world collateral like U.S. Treasuries into onchain monetary building blocks, $M. $M is M0’s programmable, composable foundation for builders to create their own application-specific digital dollars via M0’s $M Extensions. Incubated and funded by the M0 project, MXON grew to become the first Minter on the M0 network, playing a critical role in bringing institutional-grade assets into the programmable money era.

MXON is seeking a Senior Markets & Client Coverage Manager to lead operational and client coverage activities during the Americas timezone. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and running the desk that connects institutional counterparties to MXON’s issuance and settlement infrastructure. This role combines real-time operational leadership with strategic relationship management, ensuring that issuance and redemption flows run seamlessly and that counterparties experience best-in-class service.

You will work closely with the Head of MXON and cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, and control functions to drive client experience by building and refining scalable operational frameworks and systems, and help define the future state of institutional stablecoin issuance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing issuance and redemption activity and acting as the primary coordination point for institutional counterparties during Americas timezone. You will manage live flows end-to-end, ensuring timely, accurate execution, clear communication with partners, and smooth escalation and handovers across global teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with institutional counterparties and ecosystem participants, ensuring clear communication, operational alignment, and long-term trust
  • Triage operational issues and coordinate escalation to internal and external partner teams with structured, actionable context.
  • Maintain governance discipline, track exceptions, parameter changes, and transaction records to meet audit, risk, and compliance standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, control functions, and external partners to streamline workflows, resolve issues, and support business development.
  • Contribute to process development and tooling, helping define and review SOPs, streamline workflows, and identify priorities for building automation and technical systems to support operations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in markets-facing operations, sales-trading, or treasury functions, ideally within regulated financial institutions. Demonstrated ability to handle time-sensitive, high-stakes transaction windows with sound judgment and composure.
  • Proven ability to interface with institutional counterparties, anticipate their operational needs, and build trust through high-quality execution and communication.
  • Institutional-level operational expertise: Strong understanding of governance, risk, control, and reporting frameworks typical of regulated financial institutions, with the ability to adapt these to a fast-moving, crypto-native environment.
  • Cross-functional team-work: Comfortable collaborating across product, engineering, and corporate/control functions (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk) to deliver complex operational initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with fluency in operational data and financial reporting.
  • Clear, structured communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Skills & Attributes

  • Client-First Coverage. You act as a trusted point of contact for institutional partners, anticipating their needs, responding quickly under pressure, and representing MXON with professionalism.
