The impact you will make
As a PMO Manager, you will be an integral part of the Operations team, primarily responsible for professionalizing our PMO and leading key strategic projects across a diverse range of commercial and technical topics. Additionally, you will serve as the central point of contact for all public funding projects, overseeing their evaluation, coordination, and management.
Sitting between the commercial, scientific, and technical teams, the Operations team is responsible for daily operations, the Project Management Office (PMO), company building, strategic partnerships, and strategic projects across the company.

More specifically, you will:
- Lead all PMO efforts at Marvel Fusion by defining processes, structures, and templates, while overseeing program management across the company
- Conceptualize, coordinate, and manage strategic and operational projects with internal and external partners
- Analyze and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships
- Maintain strong communication with all departments.
- Operate at the core engine of Marvel Fusion Inc., gaining insights into all major projects, ensuring the company stays on track to commercialize inertial fusion energy within the next decade
- Collaborate closely with business professionals, scientists and engineers in a highly dynamic working environment
Most activities will take place in the Greater Munich (DE) area, with occasional international travel.
What you bring
- Proven hands-on experience in an operations, strategy, or similar role. This could be e.g. via 1 to 2 years of experience in an operational role in a strategy consultancy, strategy department, or a high-growth startup
- Successful completion of a relevant project in either a private or professional setting
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, industrial engineering, chemistry, physics, or a similar field. A background in both business and technical fields is a plus
- Prior experience with public funding projects is advantageous
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a quick grasp of complex concepts
- High level of initiative, hands-on mentality, and strong professional commitment
- Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high work quality
- Skilled at working both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal, social, and communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
