The impact you will make
As Specialist Controlling and Public Funding at a world-leading fusion company, you’ll be at the heart of a groundbreaking mission to drive the future of clean energy. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with visionary scientists to craft and submit innovative project proposals, making your work critical to the success of the company. Partnering with experienced project managers, you’ll oversee key tasks to ensure smooth execution. Your precision in managing billing will not only secure vital funding for Marvel Fusion but also fuel the global clean energy revolution. Your impact will be nothing short of transformative.
More specifically, you will be:
- You will take command of all public funding projects from the finance perspective, ensuring a clear and comprehensive overview while driving the flawless integration of new applications into this system.
- Collaborate with our scientific and operations team at Marvel Fusion to uncover and evaluate exciting funding opportunities.
- Preparation of the relevant application documents.
- Ensure seamless and compliant project planning and management for funded initiatives, with all necessary documentation and evidence in place.
- Perform insightful financial analyses, comparing actual versus planned resource consumption, and deliver impactful reports.
- Guarantee timely invoicing for all public funding projects to secure essential financial support
- Build and maintain a cutting-edge internal knowledge database to foster a seamless, company-wide exchange of expertise.
What you bring
- A successfully completed degree (university/university of applied sciences) in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Moderating coordination meetings with project teams and budget responsible stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities and risks and evaluating them together with the project manager
- Creating forecasts and budget plans
- Initiating and further developing project-controlling processes
- Curiosity, growth mindset and openness to new ways of doing things
- Excellent communication skills and a structured working style
- A healthy amount of flexibility, adaptability and can-do attitude
- Fluent in English and German
