About the opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Non-Financial Risk Management to join our Risk Management team. This is a unique opportunity to drive the non-financial risk management at a cutting edge technology-driven bank. You will support various non-financial risk and internal controls topics with guidance from our high performing team and work across functions, products, and markets to assess, control, and report non-financial risks N26 is exposed to.

In this role, you will:

• Play a key role in maintaining and updating the Non-Financial Risk Databases

• Interact with company-wide stakeholders by supporting the regular and ad hoc risk assessment process to gain an overview of N26’s risk profile

• Support identifying, assessing, and reporting non-financial risks

• Support assessing, testing, and improving the internal controls to ensure optimal mitigation of risks

• Support the reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to ensure effective monitoring of the risk profile

• Support the reporting of non-financial risk events in the loss database

• Prepare and continuously update training materials

What you need to be successful:

Background:

• 3 years of relevant experience in customer service, banking operation, or similar roles, preferably in the financial services or fintech environment.

• First touch points with Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Compliance

Skills:

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, critical thinking, as well as ability to identify problems and propose solutions

• Good analytical skills, including experience using data analysis tools
