About the Opportunity

N26 is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our Banking Operations Team as a Banking Operations Analyst. In this role, you will be a key player in utilizing your data analytics skills to surface large data sets across Credit, Dunning, and Collections processes, ensuring its smooth and efficient handling. A focus of this job is on the ability to independently drive enhancements and automatization projects forward while keeping the day-to-day business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Utilize your SQL knowledge to analyze data to gain insights into products and processes. Use data analytics skills to drive process improvements and ensure the highest quality of operations.
  • Process Execution and Improvement: Regularly execute operational processes related to Credit, Dunning, and Collections. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness by proposing automations or other changes to the process.
  • Project Management: Support and Drive projects with cross-departmental teams end-to-end ensuring continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes to optimize our Teams Processes
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations and best results in debt collection recoveries.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Apprenticeship or Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a comparable field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in project management and delivery, with a proven track record of managing and improving operational processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to independently generate insights and apply them to process improvements. Knowledge of SQL is required.
  • Learning and Improvement: Eagerness to learn and drive the improvement and optimization of processes. A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • Ownership and Action: Strong sense of topic ownership and a bias for action. Ability to work autonomously with a “get things done” attitude.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English is required - German is a strong plus.

Nice-to-have:

  • Business fluency in French, Spanish, or Italian is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM and issue tracking tools (e.g., Salesforce & JIRA) as well as credit systems (such as Mambu) is advantageous.
  • Domain Expertise: Previous experience in credit, dunning, or debt collection procedures is a strong plus.
