Job description:

We are looking for a Nanophotonic Process Technician to execute and support cleanroom nanofabrication processes with precision, ensuring reproducibility, quality and compliance with established protocols.

Responsibilities
Process Execution:
· Execute nanofabrication processes with precision, including lithography, etching, deposition, and other key steps.
· Adhere strictly to all established Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols.
· Maintain meticulous records of all process runs, including materials used and process parameters.
Process Support and Development:
· Assist engineers with the testing and validation of new process flows.
· Provide valuable feedback on process performance and help troubleshoot issues as they arise.
· Support engineers in collecting data and performing tests for process optimization.
· Ensure high-quality and clear reporting to clean room engineers to support process reproducibility.
Quality and Environment Control:
· Monitor the cleanroom environment to ensure it remains stable and compliant with all standards.
· Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality and calibration.
· Guarantee the reproducibility of all fabrication steps to ensure consistent results.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
· Proven experience working in a cleanroom environment (3+ years)
· Industry experience is a plus.
· Understanding of microfabrication principles and equipment.
· Experience with calibrating, testing and validating nanofabrication processes.
· Exceptional focus on precision and accuracy in all tasks.
· Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and report issues effectively.
· Understanding of CMOS devices fabrication trade-offs is a plus.
· Experience with Si photonics and III-V materials is a plus.
· Knowledge of Python coding language is a plus.
Soft Skills:
· Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and fellow technicians.
· Flexibility, polyvalency and open-mindedness.
· English professional proficiency.
· French is a plus.
