Job description:

We are looking for a Prototyping Center Lead to manage cleanroom equipment and infrastructure scaling, ensure process stability as well as reproducibility and provide technical support that enables reliable and high-quality prototypes.

Responsibilities

Equipment and Infrastructure Management:

· Manage and supervise the installation of new equipment within the prototyping line.

· Validate the proper functioning of all equipment and systems.

· Manage and perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

· Manage collaboration and interaction with prototyping-center-related suppliers (fabrication tools, infrastructure)

Technical Execution & Support:

· Support fabrication processes establishment with a focus on precision and reproducibility.

· Act as the primary technical support for equipment and process-related issues.

· Work closely with engineers to support the development of new processes, providing valuable feedback and assisting with experimental runs.

Quality and Reproducibility:

· Ensure the reproducibility of all processes and the stability of the controlled environment.

· Follow strict protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and controlled environment.

· Document all procedures, maintenance activities, and process results to ensure traceability.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

· Proven experience in a technical or manufacturing environment, with a focus on equipment management and process execution (5+ years).

· Industry experience is a plus.

· Strong hands-on skills with the installation, validation, and maintenance of specialized equipment.

· Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.

· A meticulous approach to following procedures and maintaining a controlled environment to ensure quality and reproducibility.

· Experience with nanofabrication process optimization techniques, calibration and testing.

· Experience with Si photonics and III-V materials.

· Knowledge of Python coding language is a plus.

Soft Skills:

· Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and fellow technicians.

· Flexibility, polyvalency and open-mindedness.

· English professional proficiency.

· French is a plus.
