Job description:

We are looking for a versatile and experienced professional to join our team. You will be responsible for the development, structuring, and maintenance of our software and hardware infrastructure. This role is crucial for organizing our research data and implementing high-performance tools for our scientific teams.

Responsibilities
· Software and Data Architecture:
• Structure and maintain the company's software architectures and databases.
• Organize and maintain databases for data generated from both component experiments and simulations.
• Organize and manage the data processing codes for simulation results and fabrication-related.
• Help and provide guidelines for the developments of new and existing Softwares
• Setup and maintain support architecture and git servers
· Hardware Infrastructure and Support:
• Ensure the installation, support, and maintenance of hardware infrastructure (Linux servers, Windows workstations, high-performance computing machines, NAS).
• Provide technical support to users for hardware and software-related issues.
Requirements
· Development and Data:
• Proficiency in Python (with knowledge of data processing libraries).
• Experience with advanced structured data formats (JSON, HDF5, CSV, DataFrames).
• Knowledge of relational or non-relational databases.
• Experience with graphical user interfaces (Qt) is a plus.
• Familiarity with simulation software like Lumerical would be an advantage.
· Systems and Networks:
• Solid experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to manage and maintain a NAS storage system.
• Knowledge of high-performance computing (HPC) architectures is a plus
