We are looking for a Senior Electronic System Engineer to ensure the development of our high-speed optical links and their integration into electro-optical systems.

Responsibilities
System Architecture & Design
Design RF system architectures for high-speed optical links, ensuring signal integrity and performance optimization.
Define and specify electrical interfaces between optical components (lasers, detectors) and electronic subsystems.
Develop system-level specifications that bridge component-level performance with integrated link requirements.
Design and optimize laser driver circuits and photodiode readout electronics for high-performance optical links.
Testing & Validation
Conduct system-level characterization and performance verification against specifications
Participate in the development and validation of models for architecture-level simulations.
Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and drive design improvements
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with photonics engineers to translate optical component specifications into system-level electrical requirements
Collaborate with product team to ensure technical feasibility and manufacturability of designs
Support integration activities and provide technical expertise during product development phases
Requirements
Qualifications
Education: Engineer, Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Experience: We are looking for a Senior profile (5-10 years of experience) with a strong industrial mindset, and relevant experience in electronic system design. Preferably in optical communications or high-speed interconnect systems or related field. While a PhD is valued, it is not mandatory if compensated by significant industrial R&D experience.
Technical Skills:
RF Systems Engineering: Deep understanding of high-frequency circuit design and modelling, signal integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility
Microelectronics: Proficiency in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including amplifiers, filters, and high-speed interfaces
Laser Drivers & Photodiode Readout: Hands-on experience designing driver circuits for laser diodes and transimpedance amplifiers for photodetectors
System Integration: Ability to define and validate electrical interfaces between subsystems in complex integrated systems
Testing & Measurement: Experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and optical test equipment
Knowledge of Python coding language is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and participate toin multiple projects simultaneously.
