Your new role

From day one, as a Junior Full-Stack Software Engineer (all genders) you'll use AI as your primary development tool to build, debug, and ship real features that impact users. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience with technologies such as iOS/Swift, backend APIs, and the NIA SDK while developing a broad understanding of modern AI-driven software engineering. Through collaboration, pair programming, and AI-assisted workflows, you'll learn how to design, build, and maintain high-quality software - not by memorising syntax, but by thinking clearly, asking the right questions, and critically evaluating the output.

The work you‘ll do

• Build features across mobile applications, backend services, and SDK components - using AI as your primary development tool
• Prompt,validate, and iterate: use AI tools to generate solutions, then critically review and improve them
• Write, test, and ship high-quality production code
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to design and deliver effective solutions
• Investigate technical issues using a combination of AI tools and logical reasoning
• Continuously push the boundaries of AI-assisted development

The qualifications you need

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability - you can break complex problems into clear steps
• Basic understanding of programming fundamentals (data structures, functions, control flow) - enough to evaluate whether code is correct
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to build, learn, or solve problems
• Critical thinking - you don't blindly trust AI output; you verify, question, and improve it
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team
• Interest in understanding software systems across frontend, backend, and integrations
