Our all-in-one platform helps construction companies manage budgeting, invoicing, expense tracking, cash flow, and construction site marginality, all in one place.
After strong traction in Italy, wen plan to expand into new markets. ****We're looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on person to own this expansion from day one.
The Role
This is a full-cycle Account Executive who also builds the market from scratch.
During an initial test phase, you will act as the single owner for your market. There are no handoffs: you take the market from 0 to first traction.
You do everything, from making sure the prospect will show up at the meeting, to running demos, to closing contracts, to ensure the customer is set up and successfully using the product.
When we scale we'll hire SDRs, onboarding specialists, and additional AEs building a team to conquer the market.
What You'll Do
Sales
Run product demos tailored to each prospect's pain points, you must be able to clearly explain how Pillar solves real problems in construction
Manage the full sales cycle from first touch to signed contract, no handoffs, you own it end-to-end (until new hires joining)
Handle objections and negotiate pricing, terms, and onboarding timelines
Close deals: get contracts signed and revenue recognized
Customer Onboarding & Success
Collect early feedback: identify friction points, feature gaps, and localization issues
Onboard new customers: walk them through setup, configuration, and first value milestones
Ensure activation: make sure customers actually use the product and see results in the first weeks
Product & Market Intelligence
Conduct user interviews to understand regional needs
Report product feedback using structured templates
Contribute to localization: review and adapt product copy, marketing materials, and onboarding flows
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
Native Spanish speaker: non-negotiable. You'll be the voice of Pillar in new markets and the only native speaker on the team
5+ years in a closing role (Account Executive, Sales Consultant, or similar) in SaaS or tech
Proven ability to run demos and articulate complex product value to non-technical buyers
Full-cycle sales experience: you've prospected, demoed, negotiated, and closed on your own
Comfortable with ambiguity: this is a 0-to-1 role, not a playbook-execution role
Fluent English for internal communication with the team
Strong Plus
Experience in Construction, Real Estate, or FinTech
Experience working at an early-stage startup or in market expansion roles
