Pillar is one of the fast growing startup from Italy which raised 3.2M€ pre-seed, 10 months later reached 1M€ ARR, and a couple of months later raised the biggest seed round of Italy: 12M€.

At Pillar, we’re building the financial operating system for the construction industry.

It’s a massive sector, full of inefficiencies and slow processes, moving billions while still operating like it’s the 1900s. We’re changing it with AI and a product that’s fast, simple, and scalable.

Who we’re looking for: UX/UI Designer

• 4+ years of experience and a portfolio (or track record) that shows your ability to handle product design end-to-end.

• Strong Figma skills: components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping.

• Experience working with complex, scalable Design Systems—you know how to expand and maintain them.

• Ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.

• Clear and effective communication skills—you can align and influence stakeholders across different teams.

• Proactive problem solver who can drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

• Proficient english

Bonus points

• Familiarity with Next.js/React and the shadcn/ui library—you can speak the frontend developers’ language

• Experience with motion design and micro-interactions

• Familiarity with financial concepts (invoices, payments, VAT, withholdings, etc.), or prior experience in fintech or similar products

• Italian speaker
