About Pillar

Founded in 2025, Pillar has grown to a team of roughly 75 people serving over 800 construction firms. Following a €15,2M funding round in 2026, we are now kicking off our international growth.

Our mission is to modernize construction management by integrating artificial intelligence, data analytics, workflow automation, and financial tools. Having established ourselves as a go-to partner for Italian SMEs, we are expanding into Spain — giving you the opportunity to shape our local market entry from the ground up.

Why Join Us Now

Until now, Pillar has only ever operated in Italy — with one team doing all of marketing. We've since split that team into central Growth/Marketing verticals (Paid, CRM & Lifecycle, SEO & Content) that will serve every market we enter, starting now:

  • Lead our first international market launch. That’s the biggest one.

  • Build the local playbook from scratch. Do so by adapting Italian strategies to local language, regulatory, competitive, and buyer dynamics.

  • Establish your approach, decisions, and balance. Between inherited and new processes you will establish the template for all subsequent market expansions.

What You'll Do

Your mission: own marketing for our Spanish-speaking market(s), working in a matrix with our central Growth/Marketing verticals (Paid, CRM & Lifecycle, SEO & Content, Product Marketing).

  • Own market entry from zero together with central Growth and local Sales.

  • Adapt what's proven in Italy — paid frameworks, lifecycle motion, SEO/content foundations — to the local market, rather than reinventing it wholesale.

  • Own local product marketing: messaging, competitive intelligence, and buyer psychology specific to construction (or adjacent regulated industries) in-market.

  • Partner with the central Paid vertical to launch and localize acquisition campaigns for a market with no prior performance data.

  • Partner with central CRM/Lifecycle to build (not just adapt) nurture flows and segmentation for a brand-new customer base.

  • Work hand-in-hand with local Sales as it ramps, aligning on pipeline expectations from day one.

  • Document what you learn — market-specific insights, what worked, what didn't — so it can be reused as we open the next country.

  • Report on market traction and feed learnings back into the central roadmap and into the playbook for future launches.

Your one goal: prove the market, build the engine, and leave behind a repeatable model for the countries that come next.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a builder who's comfortable with zero-to-one — someone energized by the absence of a playbook, not looking for one.

  • You have experience launching or scaling marketing in a new country/market, ideally in B2B SaaS or a sales-led business.

  • You're comfortable working in a matrix — leaning on specialist central teams (paid, lifecycle, SEO/content) rather than owning every lever solo.

  • You think in metrics: CAC, ARR, pipeline, conversion, funnel — especially important when there's no historical data to lean on yet.

  • Native or fluent Spanish, plus working proficiency in English.

  • You understand - or can quickly get up to speed on - the local construction/B2B landscape: buyer psychology, regulatory triggers, competitive dynamics.

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and being first: no playbook, no local team yet, no historical benchmarks.

Nice to have:

  • Experience specifically launching a product in Spain and/or Latin America.

  • Background in construction, real estate, or another traditional/regulated B2B industry.

  • Experience being the "first" local hire in a market for a scaling company.

Autonomy is required. Ownership is required. A growth mindset is required.

How We Work

At Pillar we row in the same direction: if one of us speeds up, we all do. We're ambitious, and we raise the bar and take ownership as we go.

Pillar isn't for you if you want to be a mere executor, want clearly defined boundaries, are looking for already-perfect processes, a calm pace, or someone to tell you exactly what to do every day.

  • A small, fast team where the distance between an idea and shipping it is short.

  • Genuine autonomy and visibility — nobody here waits to be told what to do.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation: €30,000–€45,000, tailored to experience and expertise.

  • 25 days of paid vacation annually.

  • Direct collaboration with leadership and hands-on involvement in a new market expansion from day one.

  • Modern workspace located in Barcelona's innovation hub with 24/7 facility access and complimentary gym membership.

  • Full-time permanent contract (Fijo) with comprehensive benefits, based in Barcelona and observing local public holidays.

Our Hiring Process

  1. Initial conversation alongside our Talent Acquisition specialists.

  2. Brief 30-45 min interview with a member of the Marketing Team.

  3. In-person final chat with our VP of Growth.
