About Pillar

Pillar is an Italian startup founded on 2025. In less than a year, we’ve grown to a team of 100+, have around €15 million in funding and are already making yearly revenue — only 12 months after our inception—with backing from prominent funds like Base10 (Silicon Valley), Earlybird (Germany), and the Italian Founders Fund. In a very short time, we’ve acquired over 900 clients.

Our goal is to become the digital backbone of the Italian construction industry and, in the long term, to manage one out of every three construction sites in Europe.

We are looking for recent (or near-recent) graduates who want to learn how to sell—for real. You don’t need prior experience; what you do need is hunger, intelligence, and a drive to build something.

Why a Graduate Program?

Universities teach management, finance, and marketing—but they don’t teach sales. Yet, sales are the engine of any company, especially a B2B SaaS startup aiming to transform a €200 billion industry.

Pillar is the perfect place to learn. Here, you’ll discover how the tech world functions, what B2B SaaS truly entails, and how to build a product that will change the way Italian SMEs manage their businesses.

Who We Are (and Why We Exist)

The Spanish construction sector is among the backbones of it's national economy, yet it is still managed using outdated tools. Construction sites generate revenue but struggle with cash collection; Excel spreadsheets are everywhere, and profit margins are often discovered too late. Pillar was created to solve this: we help construction entrepreneurs understand exactly what is happening on their sites—in real time.

The Journey

We offer you the rare experience of taking on multiple roles within a short timeframe—starting with the most challenging one to build a solid foundation for your craft.

Months 1–12 — Inbound: You shift to working with inbound leads—qualifying them, managing initial contact, and building the sales funnel. You master the other half of the profession and begin to see the entire sales cycle.

From Month 13 — The Crossroads: At the end of this period, you (together with us) choose the path that best suits you, either as an Individual Contributor or as a Leader for the Team.

Must-haves:

  • A university degree (bachelor’s or master’s) — in any field; the specific degree doesn’t matter to us.

  • A genuine desire to learn how to sell—and to actually do it.

  • Comfort with numbers and a data-driven mindset.

  • Energy, resilience, and the ability to hear "no" many times over without losing your smile.

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Curiosity about the tech world and the B2B sector.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in sales, customer service, call centers, events, or promotional work—anything that has put you face-to-face with a customer.

  • An interest in the construction industry or Italian SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises).

  • Working proficiency in english - Additional to your Spanish.

Compensation and benefits

  • First year (fixed-term contract — 12 months):

  • €25,000 base salary + €10,000 bonus (OTE — On-Target Earnings) — with the potential to earn more by exceeding targets.

What you’ll gain (beyond your salary)

  • Sales training that you won’t find at university—skills that will serve you throughout your entire career.

  • The experience of being part of a startup during its most formative growth phase.

  • An insider’s understanding of B2B SaaS and how to build one. Go-to-market strategy, managing a sales funnel

  • Working on a product that truly transforms the lives of Italian and Spanish construction entrepreneurs

  • A clear career path, with defined milestones and timelines
