Description
We’re looking for a passionate, driven, and people-obsessed People & Culture Intern to join our growing team. This is not your typical internship - you’ll be the right hand to our People & Culture Lead, helping shape the employee experience from day one and driving initiatives that make our company an incredible place to work.

You’ll get to dive into every aspect of People & Culture - from recruiting and onboarding to culture-building, automation, and performance management - while learning firsthand how a modern, people-centric company scales.

If you bring the right energy, mindset, and ownership, this internship can evolve into a full-time position after 6 months.

Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. Our 30-strong team of physicists, engineers, and data scientists works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, helping them in chip debugging and accelerating their yield analysis. Backed by top-tier deep tech investors, semiconductor experts, and strategic public programs, we have ensured long-term stability, shifting from breakthrough to scale - and shaping the next chapter in chip testing.

What will you do

Be the right hand to the People & Culture Lead

  • Work side-by-side with the P&C Lead on day-to-day priorities and projects.
  • Drive forward people initiatives across all functions and teams.

Recruitment & Employer branding

  • Coordinate the full recruiting process - from scheduling interviews to managing candidate communication.
  • Support hiring managers and ensure a smooth, top-tier candidate experience.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives that make us stand out as an employer of choice.

Pre-onboarding & Onboarding

  • Own the pre-onboarding and onboarding experience for new joiners, ensuring every detail feels thoughtful and people-first.
  • Build scalable processes that make onboarding efficient yet personal.

People operations & Process automation

  • Support in contract creation, HR documentation, and data management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and help automate or streamline workflows.
  • Contribute to the backbone of how we operate - making our People team more effective every day.

Culture & Engagement

  • Plan and execute cultural and social events that help our team connect on a next level.
  • Bring creativity and positive energy to company-wide initiatives that celebrate our people and values.

People partnering & Performance

  • Get exposure to People Partnering and support managers with everyday people topics.
  • Co-manage our performance management process, ensuring continuous feedback and growth across the company.
What is expected of you
  • A proactive and enthusiastic drive - you take ownership and make things happen.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn - you’re curious, adaptable, and want to grow in the People field.
  • Empathetic and people-first - you genuinely care about creating a great experience for others.
  • Hold (or are pursuing) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or another related field.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
