We are a growing team looking for a Accountant in the Finance department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Riga office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO …

As a Accountant you’ll work on responsibilities like bookkeeping of bank operations and working with accounting of debtors and creditors. You’ll be collaborating closely with Senior Accountant and Finance Manager.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Be responsible for accounting of debtors and creditors (booking of incoming/outgoing invoices);
• Do bookkeeping of bank operations (processing of incoming/outgoing payments);
• Support the invoicing team and participating in the monitoring of receivable balances;
• Assist the senior accountant and financial manager in tasks such as accounting of fixed assets, preparation of reports and declarations for SRS, CSB, Bank of Latvia etc.;
• Participate in the preparation of the annual report and closing of the month;
• Participate in the preparation of different policies and procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

• Completed studies in the field of accounting or finance;
• Good computer skills (MsOffice, Excell);
• Good knowledge of English;
• Knowledge of tax and financial regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia;
• Good communication and collaboration skills;
• Ability to analyze data and justify one's opinion;
• Desire to improve and acquire new knowledge.
