Why Sintra?
50,000+ small business owners use Sintra every day. Not because it's another SaaS tool — but because our AI helpers actually feel like teammates. They reply to customers, post on social media, analyze data, and much more. For someone running a business alone, this is the first time they've had help that actually helps.
We've built something people care about. Now we need to make it great.
We’re hiring our first People & Culture Lead.
Your mission: build how Sintra grows, not just as a company, but as a place where people feel inspired to do their best work.
This isn’t traditional HR.
We’re looking for a builder, someone who designs systems, shapes culture, and keeps things simple as we scale.
You’ll work directly with founders to define how it feels to join, work, and grow at Sintra, adding structure without slowing us down.
Success in this role means:
people are growing not just vertically, but horizontally too
culture is intentional, not accidental
problems surface early
-
We scale without becoming corporate
What you’ll do
Build our people foundation: hiring, (on/off)boarding, and retention
Create simple systems that scale without adding unnecessary complexity
Shape how Sintra shows up to external world and our team, co-own employer brand
Turn values into real behaviors, rituals, and ways of working
Own performance & growth (feedback, progression, L&D)
Partner with founders and managers on teams, challenges, and decisions
Handle feedback and conflict directly and healthily
Keep operations lean, use tools, data, and automation where it matters
Who we’re looking for
You’ve built (or significantly shaped) People/HR systems in an early-stage or fast-growing company
You’re comfortable navigating the chaos of startup life and stay effective in fast-changing environments
You’re good with operating without playbooks and creating structure from ambiguity
You think in systems and build them from scratch
You care deeply about culture, people, and how teams actually work
You’re pragmatic, you know when to build structure and when to keep things simple
You can handle real conversations: feedback, conflict, performance
You’re able to challenge founders and leaders when needed, thoughtfully and directly
You’re comfortable using tools, data and automation to improve how people systems operate
We know not everyone applies unless they meet 100% of the criteria. At Sintra, we value talent, ambition, and potential over a perfect CV. If this role excites you, apply, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary range: €4,500 - €6,000/month gross, depending on experience.
