About SLNG

SLNG is building a global, compliance-first voice AI infrastructure. We operate across STT, TTS, LLMs and real-time voice systems, running workloads on globally distributed compute. We are early stage, technical by default, and moving quickly. This is not a volume recruiting role. This is an execution-heavy role working directly with the founders.

The role

You will own day-to-day recruiting execution across technical and non-technical roles, reporting directly to the founder. You will draft roles from rough input, source candidates through technical communities, and run a clean, high-signal hiring process. You will not be responsible for closing senior candidates solo. Founders remain directly involved in final decisions and senior closes.

What you will do

  • Draft role descriptions from incomplete or evolving input (founder-reviewed)

  • Source candidates across ML, infra, MLOps, DevOps, SRE, and systems roles

  • Engage thoughtfully with technical communities in Spain

  • Run first-pass screens focused on motivation, judgment, and role fit

  • Manage the hiring process end-to-end (scheduling, feedback, coordination)

  • Maintain a strong, honest candidate experience

  • Hire junior and mid-level roles with increasing autonomy over time

Technical context you should be comfortable operating in

You do not need to be an engineer, but you should understand the landscape and language of:

  • Machine learning infrastructure and model lifecycle

  • Model serving and low-latency inference

  • Distributed and real-time systems

  • Reliability and performance-sensitive infrastructure

  • GPU-heavy workloads and cost-aware systems

  • Streaming, event-driven, and networking-heavy systems

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of recruiting experience

  • Experience in an early-stage startup environment

  • Experience recruiting technical roles (infra, ML, platform, systems)

  • Ability to work from unclear inputs and iterate quickly

  • Strong written communication and role-drafting ability

  • Barcelona-based, with an interest in local technical communities. You should already be operating in the Barcelona ecosystem.

  • Not a volume recruiting role

  • Not an HR or people operations role

  • Not a remote role

  • Not a sourcing-only position

  • Not suitable for recruiters who require fixed specs and stable orgs
