Asset / Project Development Working Student (m/f/d)

Through the flexibility we secure, we can market flexibility-as-a-service and hedging products/power insurance to utilities, SMEs, and industrial players and create virtual storage capacity for PV and wind farms.To support our team in Hamburg, we are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) in Asset and Project Development to provide operational support in the development of battery storage projects across all project phases.
- Identification and assessment of potential sites for large-scale battery storage projects throughout Germany.
- Support in the coordination of grid connections with network operators and analysis of regulatory and market frameworks.
- Communication and coordination with municipalities, landowners, economic development agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participation in the planning, structuring, and implementation of battery storage projects until they reach ready-to-build status.
- Support in the preparation of business cases, investment materials, and internal decision-making documents.
- Involvement in due diligence processes, maintenance of data rooms, and structured project documentation.
- Maintenance and further development of internal project management and tracking tools, as well as monitoring key milestones.
- Taking ownership of independent tasks and topics beyond existing team structures.
- Currently enrolled student (m/f/d) in Engineering, Renewable Energies, Economics, or a comparable field of study.
- Initial practical experience in project development, the energy sector, or a demanding, dynamic environment is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Full business proficiency in German (minimum C1) and English.
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with various stakeholders.
- A structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.High level of proactivity, a hands-on mentality, and strong organizational and analytical skills.
- A strong interest in renewable energies and battery storage technologies.
- A driver’s license valid in Germany is an advantage.
