We are seeking an experienced Associate Principal Systems Engineer to act as a subject matter expert within Software, System, and Test Engineering.

You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the whole System as distinct from the parts for production and operation
  • Solve system- and platform-scale problems
  • Design, implement, and integrate multiple system components in accordance with the overall system technology landscape of the project/program
  • Take ownership and responsibility for implemented components during their entire lifecycle up to and including production operations and system integration
  • Deal with complex platforms and systems and understand how tactical technical decisions affect the longevity of the overall solution
  • Decompose and recompose complex systems using various approaches such as Systems Engineering and etc
  • Apply Systems Engineering approaches on account portfolio/business unit level
Requirements
  • 6 years of employment experience in the job offered (Associate Principal Systems Engineer), Associate Principal Software Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, Chief Systems Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, SW Maintenance Engineer, Network Support Engineer, Database Analyst, DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, Systems Analyst, Solution Architect, Systems Architect, Systems Engineering Manager, Software Engineering Team Leader, Chief Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Manager, Technical Lead, Testing Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Application Support Engineer, IT Developer, or closely related occupation
  • At least one of the following Cloud platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Building distributed environments, event-driven architecture patterns, and orchestration platforms by utilizing at least one of the following: Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS ECS
  • At least one of the following relational databases: PostgreSQL, AWS SQL DB, or GCP Cloud SQL
  • At least one of the following lightweight/serverless compute services: AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Azure functions
  • At least one of the programming languages: Java, Scala, or Python
  • At least one of the following platform operations tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
