About the Role

You will join the founding data team, which consists of two machine learning engineers and one data scientist. Everyone on the team will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the product team to build solutions.

The ML team will be highly autonomous and expected to ship results to production. You must be comfortable moving and failing fast, this is not a research environment. You must also be very close to the product and focus on solving real problems for our users and sellers.

Machine Learning Engineers at Tilt will work on ground-breaking new features for live commerce.

What You'll Do

• Ship end-to-end solutions to production, ensuring they scale to millions of users

• Build and own the ML stack

• Continuously innovate to position TILT as the leader in applications of ML & AI in live commerce

• Advise, design and build new features leveraging data & ML

• Communicate technical challenges to technical and non-technical team members

What We're Looking For

• Experience working in a seriously fast-paced start-up (prefer early stage)

• No ego, open to being challenged, and ability to bring fresh perspectives

• Expertise in building and shipping production-grade ML & AI solutions to thousands (or millions) of users

• Outstanding ability to communicate technical problems
