About the role

You would be working on the multiple core services written in GoLang that make up the Trickest Workflow Engine which serves as a distributed workflow engine 🏎️. Some of those services are yet to be engineered 🧑‍🔬, and some solutions have to be overhauled/improved/reimagined 🔧, leaving much space for creativeness 🎨, and meaningful work, true startup experience essentially ✨. We love our engineers, so expect to work on a code base that actually has comments 👏, style 👏, proper logging 👏, and support scripts and tools 👏. Join our sandbox and build castles with us 🏰.

About you

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Solid knowledge of GoLang or relatable languages like Rust
• Independent, ready to write services from scratch
• Knowledge of the following:
  • Distributed systems design and patterns
  • Message queues and streams
  • Linux systems
  • Docker
• Courteous, professional, diligent attitude, initiative
• Personal growth and development mindset
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Bonus qualifications

• Kubernetes familiarity and basic know-how 📖
• Deeper knowledge on making services observable 🔎
• Being best friends with profilers and saving every byte of usage ⚙️
• Hands on experience writing high-performance services that utilize high cpu/memory/disk/network usage 📈
