Your Mission
The Lead Ecosystem Solutions role at ubitricity is responsible for setting and communicating a clear ecosystem vision and strategy that aligns customer needs with business and operational priorities. It acts as the central driver of cross-functional alignment between Product Managers, Software, Hardware, as well as commercial and operations teams to ensure cohesive development of our Software tooling landscape. Through strong leadership and a focus on performance, scalability, and cost effectiveness, the role steers the evolution of our ecosystem and empowers teams to deliver high-quality, future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and implement the strategic direction for the ubitricity ecosystem, ensuring it supports the company vision and broader business goals.
- Establishes strategy including creation and execution of roadmaps focused on achieving cost leadership, scalability, and flexibility in key areas such as:
- Charge Point Management System (CPMS) and related applications, including EV Driver-facingapplications
- Automation and digitalization initiatives
- Business Intelligence (BI), monitoring, and data analytics
- Network Planning
- Develop and enforce Network Planning frameworks and models, provide data and tooling landscape to maximize utilization, while ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Create and maintain insights into market developments as well as customer needs.
- Translate these into the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring a competitive and compelling offering for customers and drivers.
- Responsible for daily management and further development of central ecosystem components, such asCPMS, Automation and digitalization, Business Intelligence and Network Planning tools.
- Analyze and manage performance of ecosystem components (e.g., availability, error rates, charging success). Identify operational improvement needs and derive technical and process optimization measures.
- Work closely with Hardware and Software solution teams to prioritize and implement enhancements.
- Drive forward empowerment of users to effectively use the ecosystem components to reach the company’s ambition for performance, scalability, quality and cost leadership.
- Serve as the primary contact for all Ecosystem Solutions topics.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between Product Managers, Software, and Hardware teams
- Collaborate closely with our Commercial and Operations teams, ensuring business and operational requirements are translated into technical specifications— and vice versa.
- Ensure that also our external partners and suppliers contribute to meeting the company’s ambitions on performance, quality, cost, and scalability
- Manage budgets and PoS costs related to CPMS, Telecommunications, Automation and Digitalization, Business Intelligence and Network Planning activities, ensuring efficient allocation and use of financial resources.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for technical and operational initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance, following ubitricity’s leadership principles
- Implement corporate objectives by setting and managing departmental goals and assigning targets to employees
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, including Goals and Performance Appraisals and salary revisions
- Support employee development and encourage independent problem-solving
- Maintain information flow within the team, between teams, and with management
