Upvest, founded in 2017, enables any financial institution to offer great investment experiences to its customers. Upvest is an investment firm regulated by the German supervision authority (BaFin). The company currently employs 160+ people across Europe with its headquarters based in Berlin, Germany.

The company is backed by the world’s largest venture capital funds and investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Notion Capital, and ABN Amro Ventures, as well as by renowned fintech entrepreneurs (including Maximilian Tayenthal, founder of N26, and Felix Haas, founder of IDnow).

We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. Our mission and vision is to make investing as easy as spending money.

We’re based in Berlin but would consider hiring remotely in Germany for this role. If you do want to move to Berlin though, we’re happy to support your relocation.

Upvest partners with Europe’s largest Fintechs including Revolut, N26, Raisin, and more. To become the category leader for investment infrastructure, Upvest is striving to provide exceptional support to our B2B clients. As part of the Client Experience team, you will help our clients running their business by supporting them with any operational issues they might occur. . You solve problems with calmness, creativity, and a client-first attitude. You are an advocate for the interests of the client and their end-users internally and share the passion for Upvest’s mission. Last but not least, your communication skills are second to none.

Build and deliver a first-class client experience

You bring Upvest’s expertise directly to our clients, empowering them to provide a first class support experience to their users, by providing a best-in-class experience to them. You have a strong builder mentality and have the passion to build the Client Experience function of the future including automations, smart tooling, and data analytics, using different technologies including AI. You are keen to provide stellar support and advise clients across user administration, trading, first-line support, regulatory reporting, and more.

Set new standards in client collaboration and communication

With every new ticket, every new user, and every new client, we get smarter. We discover new insights and improvements. You take an active role in setting new standards for client communication, both internally and externally. You approach client requests with a proactive and problem solving mindset. You view every ticket as an opportunity to improve our client relationship. Whether it is via email, slack or phone call, you are equally comfortable and adept in providing a first class service to our clients.

Job requirements:

  • You are excited about technology and investments and want to build a career in one of the fastest growing Fintechs in Europe.

  • You ideally have 1+ years of experience in client-facing roles ( within Fintech, investments, banking or a similar industry.)

  • You have demonstrated communication and organisation skills, are able to communicate well with different stakeholder groups, and are familiar with working within SLAs.

  • You have a client-first mindset and understand how to solve our clients’ problems pragmatically and efficiently.

  • You love solving problems with a self-serve approach and enjoy working closely with clients, subject matter experts, and internal teams.

  • You are proactive in coming up with improvements, acting as a sparring partner for CX management, addressing questions and raising issues early.

  • You thrive in a setup where you can work autonomously, grow your knowledge of financial markets and have the opportunity to contribute to the building of Upvest’s best-in-class CX function.

    It's great if you:

    • Have experience working in the financial industry or any other regulated environment.

    • Have a background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or adjacent fields.

    • You have previous experience within Zendesk, or a similar CRM.
