Upvest is one of the few fintechs in Europe that can provide its B2B clients with the full range of investment opportunities in the areas of principal broking business, proprietary trading, and safe custody business for traditional securities. Upvest’s clients include some of the biggest Fintechs in Europe such as Revolut, N26 and Raisin. The company was founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing and currently employs more than 2200 225 people across Europe (approx. +40% yoy). Its latest €100m fundraising round (Series C in Q4/2024) was led by Hedosophia and Sapphire Venture, with continued support from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Motive Ventures, and Notion Capital.

We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. Our mission and vision is to make investing as easy as spending money.

As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, we are looking for an exceptional Product Manager - Internationalisation & Taxes. You will work directly with Mislav Ilich, Christian Wöhlke and Thomas Etheber owning topics critical to Upvest’s product and business success:

Drive Upvest's international expansion across Europe and the UK, spearheading our strategic entry into new markets and ensuring optimal product fit and enabling localised tax regimes. The focus will be to support launching new localised account types and unlock Upvest’s product to millions more users across Europe & the UK.

Champion User Value & Financial Impact: Understand the needs of international users, translating insights into product features that free them from the tedious burden of tax work, boost their investment returns, and enhance their financial security. Your work will directly contribute to closing the retirement gap, and save taxes for millions of users, enhancing their financial security.

Expand Upvest's business operations internationally by defining and executing a clear strategy for international expansion lead Upvests entry to various new markets. Working with top fintech partners and innovative enterprises, you’ll ensure the right product fit and drive a strategic approach to meet diverse regulatory and tax requirements across jurisdictions.

What you'll bring:

  • You have 2-3+ years experience working in Product Management roles - ideally with focus on Investments and related taxes. Experience in financial services/investing, B2B SaaS or FinTech is a big plus.

  • Understanding of and a focus on B2B clients’ and their users’ needs and how to delight them. You have a clear bias for impact and speed in product discovery and delivery.

  • Be a sponge! We don’t need you to be a regulatory or tax expert. But you will need to be able to absorb knowledge on complicated topics quickly (e.g. market-specific product needs, localised regulatory requirements, reporting and tax flows and associated user needs) and combine with your expertise on product management best practices.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex concepts into easily consumable ideas, clear project phases and tangible, (client-) value generating product increments.

  • Experience with common product manager’s toolkits - such as product discovery, ticketing and documentation software (e.g., Linear, Slite, Miro, Figma etc.)

  • Domain knowledge about investments and general capital markets with an exposure to related taxes is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
