Your Impact:

The Corporate Actions Manager plays a key role within the corporate actions team, overseeing the processing of events that impact securities held by investors. This role focuses on ensuring the accurate and timely execution of various corporate actions, with a particular emphasis on reviewing and interpreting announcements from multiple sources. The manager is also responsible for notifying clients about upcoming events and their potential impact. A key aspect of the role is safeguarding shareholder interests, while ensuring that all actions are executed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Maintaining client trust and operational integrity is essential for the success of the corporate actions team.

What you’ll do:

  • Processing of income as well as corporate actions events (dividend payments, mergers etc.)

  • Pro-actively monitoring of agent deadlines for given corporate actions and instructing custodians

  • Performing information management for newly incoming events

  • Resolution of breaks

  • Answering CA related inquiries from clients

  • Performing investigations when data does not match for given events and clarifying it with the custodian

  • Further development of the existing corporate action functionalities

  • Collaboration with internal teams to provide comprehensive corporate actions insights and support

  • Look for existing process gaps and propose ideas to close these

  • Update existing documentation in case new functionality are introduced or process changed

What you bring:

  • At least 5 years of corporate actions/income experience

  • Strong understanding of corporate actions/income events as well as financial products

  • High level of English, German is a strong advantage

  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Excellent understanding of all corporate actions subprocesses - information management, notifications management, instructions management and processing

  • Excellent in handling MS Office applications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance/economics

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g. Bloomberg, SWIFT, WM-Daten)
