We're building a new category and a new service layer for customer success.

Backed by top-tier investors (Earlybird, b2venture) and growing faster than a dad joke at a Monday all-hands, we're seeking a Chief of Staff: After Sales (f/m/d) to take ownership of our post-signature customer lifecycle, build the After Sales function from the ground up, and drive enterprise account growth across our insurance portfolio.

What You Will Do

Translate founder vision into After Sales execution

You sit between C-Level and the After Sales team. The founders set direction; you turn that into projects, milestones, systems, and results. This is not a department head role. It's embedded leadership with real ownership.

Build the operating system for After Sales

Design account strategies, expansion frameworks, reporting cadences, and quality standards from scratch. You create the structure that enables the team to perform and the business to scale.

Own commercial outcomes

Drive Net Revenue Retention, minimise churn, and build a strategic expansion pipeline. Your target: double account volume year over year through new business lines, new products, and deeper penetration within existing clients.

Lead and develop the team

Currently 4 people, growing. You make operational decisions, develop capabilities, and drive hiring with the COO. You make performance visible and hold the standard.

Navigate enterprise complexity

Our customers are insurance groups with layered stakeholder structures. You bridge operative account work and strategic stakeholder engagement: stakeholder mapping, cross-divisional growth paths, steering committee preparation.

Actively shape the coordination layer

You coordinate across functions with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Partners, each owned by a peer who reports into C-Level just like you. As the company grows, you may build this area and stay as its Head, or rotate into the next challenge and hire your replacement together with the founding team. This flexibility is by design, and both paths are equally valued.

Scope and expectations

Reports directly into C-Level (3 founders + COO). Individual contributor in leadership capacity from day one. Team of 4, growing. Pragmatic mindset. Strategy is welcome when it translates into concrete action this quarter.

This is you

Experience in a Chief of Staff or Operator role with direct customer-facing and commercial exposure. Or: experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Key Account Management leadership with a strong generalist and builder profile.

You have built things from scratch. Processes, teams, functions, strategies. You thrive in the gap between "this is roughly what we need" and "here's how it works now."

Comfort with enterprise complexity. You understand or can quickly learn how large insurance groups operate: stakeholder structures, steering committees, cross-divisional dynamics.

You work with AI daily. Concrete, self-built workflows. You can carry this into your team.

Strong project management capability. You break goals into milestones, milestones into systems, and systems into execution.

You start executing at 30% clarity and iterate.

Full professional proficiency in English and German.

Resilience. You can hear "no, do it differently" without taking it personally. You work toward outcomes, not acknowledgment of effort.

Hands-on readiness. You are willing and able to work directly with key accounts yourself. This role requires someone who can strategise and execute at the customer, not only manage others who do.
