We will help prevent a climate crisis by freeing the world from fossil fuels. Our breakthrough direct air capture technology captures CO2 from the atmosphere and produces hydrogen in parallel.

We are looking for a student looking into chances to do a Master thesis in our CO2 absorption science team. Your task will be to carry out systematic tests with regard to crystallization helping to further develop our technology. This will happen in our dynamic environment in close collaboration with the absorption upscaling team.

Specifically you will:

• Be involved in planning the necessary crystallization experiments.

• Carry out the planned experiments.

• Help improve our test stands.

• Prepare samples for and help with further analysis (Chemical + physical properties).

• Documentation and data evaluation of the experiments.

• Perform further general tasks in laboratory operations.

• You are qualified or currently studying in one of the following: Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field.

• Considerable hand-on experience in lab related topics is highly preferred.

• You have good attention to detail and you are able to coordinate well during complicated experiments.

• You work in a structured and organized way.

• You can work independently and as part of a team.

• You have good English communication skills

• You are a team worker with a growth mindset

• You are interested in combining the necessity of a thesis with making a direct impact in a real world project.

• You are willing to gain experience in a dynamic and international work environment.
